On February 21st, 2010 the 19th Annual Black History Month Celebration will be held at the Holiday INN at 3:00 pm. This is brought to you by the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and Just Eventz.
Our Prayers are with the people of Haiti and everyone who is helping in their aid.
Teen Tune Up

We have to tune our bikes, our cars and even our lawn mowers.
Well you teen ladies out there, it is time to tune up your minds, your bodies and your souls. You can do this in 4 easy steps!
Step One…Acknowledge that you matter! Acknowledge that it is a necessity to take care of you yourself! First by starting with the thoughts you put into your mind. So, for Step One…THINK positive, surround yourself with positive people, create a positive surrounding for yourself (i.e. take a walk in a park with a friend), watch what you view on TV and what you read on the internet, start to read more books on influential people who made a positive difference in the world even start to read romantic novels, you will be surprised on what you get out of them , it will open up different pockets of feelings in you that you may not of known were there.
Remember a consistent sleep pattern is very important for your mind and body to work at its best, highest level . At least 8 hours of sleep is crucial for a female teen. Important…Make sure you eat 3 meals a day. Do not skip a meal, even add protein in your diet as snacks throughout the day. Your body and mind need the fuel in order for development. Brain food is so important when you study and exercise. Try to incorporate exercise in your schedule; this could be a 30-minute dance to your favourite music or a 30-minute walk. This will do a lot for stress and your thinking patterns and of course keep you in shape.

We are so excited to have the upcoming 10th Annual School Bus Fashion Show™ (SBFS™) Coming to Rainbow Cinemas in Citi Plaza formerly known as Galleria London. Guess what…The SBFS™ is going to be part of a movie! It will be premiering on Saturday August 21 and Sunday August 22 of 2010. The times are the same for both days 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and it is free!
